Etrelay: Rental Operations is a Closed Testing product operated by an individual developer under the public developer name Relay Operations. This policy explains the information handled by the current beta service and how that information is used.
Account information
We process your email address, display name, and Etrelay account identifier. Our authentication service handles email-and-password credentials; Etrelay: Rental Operations does not store your raw password in its application database. When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the identity information needed to sign you in.
Company and operational information
This may include Company membership and role, invitation records, Customers and optional Customer contact details, Locations, Assets, Transfers, and attribution of operational actions.
Photos
Etrelay may store optional Asset cover photos and Transfer evidence photos that you intentionally capture or select. These files are private and available only to authorized members of the relevant Company and Transfer.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers for authentication, secure records, private file storage, service processing, and website contact messages. They process information only as needed to provide services on our behalf. Google may also process relevant information when you choose Google sign-in or use QR and barcode scanning.
Your choices
You can update your display name, request support, or initiate account deletion. Contact hello@getrelayav.com if you cannot sign in or have a privacy question.
Who controls Company data
Each Company decides why and how it uses its operational records. Etrelay: Rental Operations processes those records to provide the service. Relay Operations separately handles its account, support, security, and service-administration information.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, enforce Company and role access, operate Transfers, protect private photos, provide support, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell personal information or use operational records for advertising.
Where information is processed
Hosted providers may process information outside your country. The approved project database and private Storage are hosted through Supabase in the Canada Central region; website contact messages are processed by Formspree under its service terms. We use encrypted connections and Company-scoped access controls appropriate to the beta service.
Retention and deletion
Transfer evidence is retained for 60 days after a Transfer is completed, after which the private files are removed. Asset cover photos remain until they are replaced, the Asset is deleted, or the relevant Company is deleted. Support messages are retained for up to 12 months after the request is resolved.
You can start account deletion from the app's Account screen or request help through the Account deletion page. Eligible deletions complete immediately. Requests that could affect active or shared Company work are reviewed first.
Camera, photos, and QR scanning
The camera and photo picker are optional and are used only when you choose to scan a QR or barcode, add an Asset cover, or add Transfer evidence. Do not upload passwords, identity documents, payment information, or unrelated sensitive personal data. When Google's scanning service is used, Google may process limited device, app, installation, performance, and scanning-event information for diagnostics and usage analytics.
Website contact form
When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message. That information is sent to our form service provider so we can respond. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, invitation codes, or unnecessary private evidence.
Age and beta status
Etrelay: Rental Operations is a business product for people aged 16 or older. Users aged 16 or 17 may use it only for an authorized Company and with any permission required by applicable law. The service is currently in Closed Testing, is not paid, and may change before public release.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email hello@getrelayav.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the beta service, providers, retention practices, or launch scope changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@getrelayav.com. Before the service becomes paid or launches publicly in a new market, this policy will be updated with final legal operator details and any additional required contacts.
